In the United States, everyone (whether living, working, or visiting New York) should have the right to an open door policy. For years, when in an advocacy environment, I have went above-and-beyond the call of duty to get answers. Everyone should enjoy scheduled time and the ability to have presence in town hall meetings and have someone that can listen and do what constituents call on their elected officials to do - not make laws and ideas for themselves and for corporate cronies, asides from meeting with their legislators.

Once in office:

1. Every Constituent in my congressional district will have every place at the table, whether you are on the far-left, the far-right, the center of the political spectrum, and regardless of who you are as a person, and I will make every effort to fight hard to ensure that equal attention and the needs of everyone are met.

2. My office will have an open-door policy. Additionally, every person, whether in the district or not - virtually every New Yorker and visitor alike will have access to a guest list, so those who want to be contacted back will be - although never a perfect guarantee, will be contacted.

3. I will also increase virtual participation even after the pandemic, including virtual appointments, continued work-from-home, and participation when warranted.

4. I will also have guaranteed involvement in all major Rochester-area and Orleans County events, as well as events of importance and as time permits, including events such as the Puerto Rican Day Parade in Rochester, Disability Pride in Buffalo, Juneteenth, the Lilac Festival, the Park Avenue Festival, the Rochester International Jazz Festival, Carifest, the Fairport Canal Days, Rochester's R&B/Soul Fest, Rochester's gay pride parade and participation of attendance with the Syracuse Orange, Buffalo Bills, Rochester Red Wings,  Rochester Rhinos, Rochester Knighthawks, Rochester Americans, Buffalo Sabres, Buffalo Bills, Syracuse Orangemen, all Rochester-area SUNY and Collegiate events, and New York State's annual festival, The Great New York State Fair, along with the anniversary of the terror attacks of 9/11 and the anniversary of the closing of Willowbrook on 9/17.

6. I will also participate in events related to people with disabilities region wide, including the annual SANYS statewide conference, along with the Western regional conference, to give equal attention to the disability community and to ensure that accessibility and inclusion are a top priority.

7. When invited, I will also attend town meetings, group meetings, luncheons, dinners, fundraisers, ethnic and cultural events, city council meetings, family-friendly events and other events as time permits and when available.

8. I will support and put my investment in small business - this includes that when my office does any restaurant takeout - with the exception of Wegman's, it will be to the maximum extent possible through small and medium sized businesses across Monroe County. This will allow dollars to stay local and not taken over in big corporations that will ignore the fabric of the local economy.

9. Additionally, I will increase welcoming opportunities for visitors, residents, and businesses alike. Likewise, I will make the office setting a welcoming place through all means possible, including the creation a small exhibit space.

10. Above all else, I will host an annual gathering for all local constituents. I will host volunteers or those on probation as part of the court order to assist with making and cooking a comfort-style, feel-good breakfast and dinner (with ingredients from local businesses, farmers, and from local stores such as Wegmans) that will, in a form of a buffet, serve hundreds of guests (and to a point where people can take these meals home to their families or for leftovers) and hundreds more for those who are homeless or were misplaced due to tragedy or a fire, working the buffet area, giving horderves and gifts, assisting with the gathering function, and allowing those from a guest list which would include constituents and representatives on the national, state, and local levels, some local celebrities, some first responders, veterans, along with close people of mine, will be invited to the gathering. This is to give back and to show that I care for everyone, and it will give me an opportunity to get to know constituents, among other human beings, in general.

Whether you are a Libertarian, Democrat, Extreme Liberal, Republican, Extreme Conservative, or anything in between, and no matter where you are in your walk of life, you should have every place in my heart and mind, and you should be welcomed in the office. Unlike Hochul, Morelle, and many politicians, you will be invited to say hello and share your story.
