For Congress
Unions have, and continue to be, the building block of the U.S. economy and one's rights to strike if unfairly treated.

This hits close to home for me, as I work in the second largest hospital in the Rochester area, where nurses have united in unionizing when nurses suffer from unfair wages, staffing shortages, lives lost, and employees fired from their jobs. The hospital officially went on strike, but eventually deals were made. I was proud to support and show up, which my Democrat oppoent, Joe Morelle, has refused to support - let alone on the Irondequoit-Rochester border where his home turf is.

Equally, my support goes to unions nationwide, including the recent SAG-AFTRA strike in New York and Los Angeles.

As I am proud to be pro-union, expect the following if I'm elected:

I will support bargaining rights and memberships provided that it is a voluntary matter.
Support transparency in unions, tackling hands-on corruption at every level.
A national minimum wage of $10 more/hour for healthcare and frontline workers in hospitals, nursing homes, and direct support companies exceeding 2,000 employees. In other words, in New York, they would be entitled to a minimum wage of $25/hour, whereas nationally the minimum wage would be $17.25/hour.
